Every now and then, I get the opportunity to DJ a wedding that is very near and dear to my heart. Amanda and Nick’s big day was one of these moments! They are members of my church, St. John’s Lutheran in West Seneca. When they asked me to DJ for their La Galleria wedding, I was honored and speechless!
When the big day rolled around, their party was unlike anything we’ve experienced. Tons of dancing (of course!), glow sticks aplenty, and the best energy you can imagine.
One of the most touching moments of the night is when we played “Nothing’s Gonna Change My Love for You” by Glenn Medeiros as a surprise song for Amanda’s parents, Rick and Jill. You see, when they got married, their wedding DJ forgot to bring the song for their first dance — the horror!
As a tribute to their love, we opened the floor for them to properly dance to their “first dance” song and the crowd loved it. It was a meaningful moment that brought all the feels to the party!
A few key songs from the night:
- First Dance: Can’t Help Falling In Love by Twenty One Pilots
- Father/Daughter Dance: I Loved Her First by Heartland
- Mother/Son Dance: I Hope You Dance by LeeAnn Womack

Cheers to Amanda & Nick!
We’d like to extend our deepest gratitude to Expressions Studio for the amazing party shots from their wedding!

DJ Mike Setlock believes the focus should be on the wedding couple and not the DJ. Your reception should be about having a fun time for you and your guests. This involves playing the perfect mix of songs that will fill the dance floor. Being a wedding DJ at La Galleria is about creating memories and ambiance. Mike wants to create the perfect day. That’s why he only DJs at weddings. Working with couples to create the day they envisioned is something he strives for at every wedding. And it’s a personalization he provides all his couples again and again.
